Report on the WSRP Xmas Cracker...

The WSRP Xmas Cracker was a great success. The show was held at Christopher Whitehead High School on Sunday 19th December 2004 and around 300 people attended to watch our very talented young bands perform.

The Juniors kicked off proceedings with Green Day's 'American Idiot' and Blink 182's 'All the Small Things'. We were down one of our singers for these numbers as Mica was ill, but luckily Hannah was on hand to sing along with Ellie and it all went brilliantly.

All of the bands did very well indeed and this reflects the hard work put in by them and our tutors over the course of the term. A very special mention should go to Lee Evans who played drums for around six of the bands (I lost count after a bit...)!

At the end of the show Steve Strain from Music City awarded some vouchers to individuals he'd selected. All the choices were deemed very deserving by the staff with Charly, Darren, Jon and Rob all getting some recognition.

Well done everyone! - Brian.
